Hello everyone!
Bre here, stopping by for a quick, scrappy blog visit!
Ever since I had my sweet baby Abby, scrapping time has been a bit hard to come by. Seriously, I bow down to all of you awesome moms out there with completed baby books lol. Since becoming a mom myself I've really had to reset my expectations and get some new perspectives on creative fulfillment. Before, I used to spend hours scrapping and finishing up a page- these days I have to squeeze in my creative fulfillment into 30 minute nap time slots!
That doesn't mean my projects have to be stale though! I have another mom friend who was lamenting the choice of only "themey" birthday invitations for her soon-to-be one year old, and I just KNEW I could find something in my Raspberry Road stash to whip up a pretty invite. She came up with the writing, and I did the design:
Isn't her daughter (who isn't named Laura, but for privacy reasons...) the prettiest little thing? I just died when I saw that photo! hahaha
Anyway, the best part is I got to play for a few minutes and get a sweet creative buzz. I used three completely different kits to get this look:
It just really goes to show how versatile Susan's enormous collections are. Don't limit yourself to a specific theme- there is so much more you can do with them!
I hope to be back next week with a new quick page collection. Until then, I hope everyone has a Happy Halloween!
