Domestic Goddess

Domestic Goddess has to be one of my all time favorite kits.  I can imagine using it for so many different kinds of pages, from heritage to bridal showers.

I made a page of a "pin-up" of my great-aunt which she sent to my great-uncle when he was fighting overseas in World War II.  Wasn't she gorgeous??!!!

I also made a cluster for you which you can download here. (Paper not included.) I hope you enjoy! Please let me know if you have any problem with the download.

EDITED:  Apparently I'm out of bandwidth for the month at box.net so I'm adding a link to the cluster at fileswap until my bandwidth returns for February. :)  SORRY about that!!!!  From now on I'll try to post at least two download sites!

Hallows Eve

Well, now that the Christmas holidays are over, I feel I can post this. I love Halloween--and I love this kit! Susan made a banner in the kit and I just had to make a hybrid project of it. It turned out better than I could have imagined, and it looks just like her banner! It was the finishing touch to my little Halloween display on my bench. The black pennant is about 8" long and has a scalloped edge, the burnt orange pennant has a smaller scalloped edge and the word paper has a straight edge. The font I used for the letters is Mephisto and you can get it here. I punched holes in each corner and tied them with ribbon. Make sure to reinforce the corners, tho, so they don't pull apart. Then I tied ribbons on each end and hung it on my bench. So there it is! Keep watching the blog, because I think there just may be one more project with this awesome kit! :)

Timeless Victorian

Not much time for a post, but here it is: Timeless Victorian based on a template by Angie (sorry I don't have a link for her page) picture of my dad and his sisters done for the Vintage Photo Challenge at Scrapbook Challenges. Didn't have time to make this one into a freebie. Hope you'll forgive me!

I spied this gorgeous kit recently and had to have it immediately.  Susan has it on sale today for 50% off- which is a steal!

Here's the page I made with Raspberry Tea; my grandmother and great aunt together as kids.  My great aunt has passed but my grandmother just celebrated her 90th birthday! Here's to an incredible, strong, fantastic woman!

Christmas Thyme Double Quick Page

Using the Christmas Thyme kit, and next week's sketch at Scrapbook Challenges, I was able to put together this 2-page LO to finish up the Christmas pages in my 2010 album. I think I spent 2-3 hours on this one, getting it just right, but I thought you might enjoy it too, so I took a few extra minutes making it into a QP to share. Hiya ladies!
It's been awhile since I've posted, but I've been a busy little beaver with the holidays! I just got back into scrapping and I've been ADORING all of Susan's designs (as always lol) and eventhough they aren't really from the right season, I'd thought I'd share a few pages:
