Thanks for the Set Susan!

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a great Christmas season! Hard to believe today is the last day of 2010 already! Party safe tonight, if you plan to party!
I put in the request for Susan to combine some of the red and white elements from her previous kits because we decorated our whole house in peppermint flaire and I wanted my holiday pages to reflect that. She went above and beyond my request I think! What a fun kit!

Here is the two page spread I put together with the Candy Cane Lane kit!

Money Envelope

We're giving the grandkids money this year, so I needed to make some money envelopes. This is the first one I made using Susan's kit, Snow Angel. I added one of Ellen's beautiful cluster frames and some snowflakes from the kit, and ended up with a very pretty money envelope. I love how it turned out and wanted to share it with you! Just print it out (FYI--it will need a bit of trimming, but you'll see where when you fold it), score it at the sections, ink the edges--if you want--add a name, and you're just about done! I stapled the insides together so the money wouldn't fall out, but that's up to you. Hope you enjoy it!

4x6 Snow Angel New Year Card

I've noticed a lot of people are moving towards the "new year" card instead of christmas cards since this time of year is insane anyway, so here is a little card I made for you with Susan's newest kit, Snow Angel. Enjoy!

Snow Angel

Wow! The CT has been busy making all kinds of goodies.  Please forgive me but I only have a layout to share with you today.  December, this year, has been just crazy!

Have you seen Susan's new kit - Snow Angel ?  It's delicate, sparkly and perfect for all of your winter layouts as well as Christmas photos!

Here's my layout using Snow Angel.  That's my daughter, Annie, many years ago. She's now 11!

Have a wonderful Sunday evening!

Plum Pudding Mitten

Happy Holidays! My gosh, the CT girls have busy and have been giving away such nice treats. I've got something for you, too! I've made an ornament using Susan's Plum Pudding kit. I just love the colors and the cluster frame! I've made these for my grandkids, friends and nieces, and thought you may like this, too. Just add your own pic and title, punch a little hole for the string and you've got a cute little ornament. Enjoy and Merry Christmas!

I love being around the little one during the Christmas season, they have such a gift of looking at the season and expecting magic to happen!  All my grandchildren have written their letters to Santa and are awaiting with much excitement for him to deliver all the goodies they were wanting......

For the layout below I used Susans kit Homespun Christmas, except for the stitches which are from another source.

And I have a freebie cluster for you using Susans kit Homespun Christmas.....may the Magic of the season give you a fresh look at things and people around you.

Season's Greetings with Raspberry Road Designs

Every year I make a photocard as our family Christmas card. I hand out printed versions to friends and family who are geographically close to us, and email an electronic version to those who are far away. This year I used Raspberry Road Designs' gorgeous Victorian Holiday kit to create this 4x6 photocard. I am just in love with this kit. It has soft pink, white and green tones, with a really vintage, feminine feel to it. I have also used one striped paper from the Baskets and Bunnies collection, the journal block is from the Josephine collection, and the sparkles are from Enchanted Fall; all available from Raspberry Road Designs.

You can download this Christmas cluster frame for free HERE. Merry Christmas!!! ASx

My First Layout as a Raspberry Girl

Hi Everyone my name is Fran known as frani_54 around digi land.  I just discovered Susan's kits and couldn't wait to created something with them.  They are so jam packed with goodies it's hard to decide which ones to use first.

For the layout below I used Susan's kit "Plum Pudding", it made me think of the poem "Twas the Night before Christmas" and all I could think of was the part of the poem that said "visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads...".

So hopefully I have illustrated for you the vision I had of sugar-plums dancing in my head.

December In Australia.....

December in Australia is one of my favorite months. The summer has just begun, Christmas and summer vacation time is fast-approaching, and our local county fair is on. This is my 18-month-old son, Mason saying hello to a goat in the petting zoo at the fair. He had never seen a goat before and crouched right down in front of it, got in close and tilted his head to the side to say hello.  The cluster frame was created using Autumn Sunset and the papers are from Cedar Creek with one paper from Cottage Charm all available from Raspberry Road Designs.

The Autumn Sunset cluster frame is available for free HERE. ASx

New Raspberry Girl

Well, Christmas came early this year for one little digiscrapper........and I was lucky enough to be given an opportunity to join the creative team for Raspberry Road Designs! I have been working with Susan's kits since I begun digiscrapping six months ago and am totally in LOVE with her gorgeous designs. I am really looking forward to being a part of the RRD community and can't wait to get to know you all. The kit used to create this layout is Raspberry Tea with one ribbon from Poppy Hill; both kits are available from Raspberry Road Designs. ASx

A Little Christmas Crazy

Ok, so I went with a peppermint theme on our tree this year, to match our red and white house lights, and the red and white theme has just taken hold of me. While there isn't actually a pre-made kit in these festive candy colors, I've complied a folder full of papers and elements from Susan's Christmas kits of years past that fit that theme. Here's the LO that I put together with the use of several of her beautiful products!

My Recipe:

Papers and Frames from Christmas Treats

Journaling Circle and Folder Stickers from Christmas Candy

Peppermints and Cluster from Joy of Christmas

Ornaments from Christmas Thyme

Bow from Letters to Santa

Looped Ribbon from Christmas Remembered

Layout with Plum Pudding

Good Morning everyone! Hope your week is going well. I just wanted to share a layout I made with Susan's beautiful Plum Pudding.

Have a fantastic day!
